The Temptation of Christ
Authentic Bone Skulpture by Los Girk - IMAGEASYLUM

"Bow down before me, and I'll give you everything your eye can see!" This skulpture depicts the famous bible story of the fallen angel tempting Jesus with all the riches of Earth, if he would only bow down to him.

This skulpture's head is made from a crow's skull, with an iguana's head inverted to form the lower jaw. The tongue is a real snake, and the goatee hair is from the artist's own goatee. Most of the body is constructed from bird and squirrel bones. Also has bird claws for hands, hawk wings, and hooves fashioned from crawfish shell. Figure is mounted on a self standing block of carved wood making the entire skulpture stand an impressive 27" tall. A tiny blue led spotlight hidden in the base eerily lights up the underwings.
